ZTE, France Telecom Form R&D Partnership

According to an announcement by ZTE and France Telecom on December 6, the two companies will form an R&D partnership, which will focus on the Asian communications market. In the initial phase of the cooperation, ZTE and France Telecom will focus on developing 3G Smartphones using the Linux operating system. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
